This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to ZAIMA® School Band Musical Instruments, a brand of Al Yumna Overseas Pvt. Ltd., India, through schoolband.zaimamusicals.com.
1. Order Cancellation
Customers may request cancellation within 12 hours of placing the order, provided the order has not already been dispatched or entered into production for customization.
Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot normally be cancelled.
2. Customized & Bulk Orders
Customized, personalized, specially manufactured, institutional or bulk orders may not be eligible for cancellation once production has started.
Any special cancellation terms communicated in an official quotation, proforma invoice or purchase order will apply to that order.
3. Returns
Eligible return requests must be made within 7 days of delivery.
Returns may be accepted where the product received is:
- Damaged during transit
- Defective
- Incorrect or different from the confirmed order
The product should be unused and, wherever reasonably possible, retained in its original packaging with supplied accessories.
4. Reporting Damaged or Incorrect Products
Customers should contact us promptly after delivery and provide:
- Order or invoice details
- Description of the issue
- Clear photographs and/or video showing the damage, defect or incorrect product
This information helps us review and resolve the claim quickly.
5. Non-Returnable Products
Returns may not be accepted for:
- Customized or personalized products
- Products manufactured specifically against an approved bulk or institutional order
- Products damaged due to misuse, improper handling or unauthorized modification
- Products returned without required accessories or components, where applicable
- Change-of-mind requests after dispatch, unless otherwise agreed in writing
6. Return Approval
Products should not be returned without prior approval from Al Yumna Overseas Pvt. Ltd.
After reviewing the claim, we will communicate the appropriate resolution and, where applicable, return instructions.
7. Refunds
Where a refund is approved, it will be processed using an appropriate payment method after verification of the claim and, where required, receipt and inspection of the returned product.
Processing time may vary depending on the payment provider, bank and transaction method.
8. Replacement
Where appropriate and mutually agreed, an eligible damaged, defective or incorrect product may be replaced instead of refunded.
Replacement availability may depend on stock or manufacturing time.
9. Shipping Costs for Returns
Responsibility for return shipping costs will depend on the reason for return and the applicable order terms.
For an approved claim involving an incorrect, damaged or defective product, the return or replacement arrangement will be communicated to the customer.
10. International Orders
For international orders, refunds or replacements may also be affected by shipping costs, customs procedures and applicable import/export requirements.
Customs duties, import taxes or charges paid to authorities in the destination country may not be refundable by Al Yumna Overseas Pvt. Ltd.
